Course Overview

Course Description
This course introduces System Design for Disaster Risk Management. Learners will gain knowledge of disaster risk management principles, fundamental concepts in system design, technology for disaster risk management, designing for disaster risk reduction, and relevant laws and policies. After completing the course, learners will be able to classify different kinds of disasters and evaluate actual situations that affect themselves, their families, and their communities. In addition to utilizing suitable technologies in the Thai context. Moreover, they can provide stakeholders with innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance disaster management procedures and align them with global regulations.

1. Learners will be able to explain the fundamental concepts of system design for disaster risk management.
2. Learners will be able to select suitable solutions after reading articles and learning materials that differ from their previous experiences and perspectives.
